Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of Audubon Park Baptist Church is dedicated to the worship of God through music. We believe that authentic, heart-felt worship of God through music is a priority for the modern church as it was in Biblical times. In addition, we believe that worship of God through music requires preparation through rehearsals as well as a heart of humility that seeks to honor God through offerings of vocal and instrumental music.

In addition to the “Congregational Choir” the following ministries are open for new members throughout the year:

The Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Wednesday from 6:15 P.M.— 7:45 P.M. This ministry group is for high school through adult age and shares testimonies through song each week during the morning worship. This group also prepares special programs each year including Easter and Christmas presentations.

The Saints Alive Choir rehearses the first and third Thursdays of each month at 10:30 A.M. and is intended for individuals fifty-five years old and up. This choir sings periodically in worship services and participates in associational events each year.

The Praise Band consists of keyboard, percussion, electric bass, acoustic and electric guitars, as well as other stringed instruments. This group accompanies our congregational singing and the Sanctuary Choir each Sunday.

Summer can be a great time to get involved with this wonderful ministry group. The Sanctuary Choir plays a vital role as worship leader in our morning worship services. Rehearsals begin at 6:15 pm each Wednesday. Say yes to God’s call by adding your voice.
